This Privacy Policy explains how LUXE DASH ("the app", "we") handles information when you use the app. We built LUXE DASH to work offline, and we designed it to collect as little information as possible.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. We do not operate any server that receives your data.

The app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or phone number.

2. Location Data (GPS)

The app requests access to your device's location in order to:

Calculate your current speed for the speedometer
Show your heading on the compass
Calculate trip distance, duration, and related trip statistics
Retrieve local weather information for your area

Location data is processed on your device only. It is not stored on any server, is not shared with us, and is not sold or transferred to third parties. Trip statistics are kept locally on your device and are cleared when a new trip begins.

3. Weather Data

To display current weather, the app sends your approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo, a third-party weather service. Only coordinates are sent — no identifiers, no account information. This is the only network request the app makes for content. If you have no internet connection, the app simply shows the last saved reading or hides the weather panel.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

The app saves your preferences locally on your device, including:

Your selected car logo and background theme
Your interface color preferences
Your most recent trip statistics and last weather reading
Your purchase status

This information never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

5. Purchases

LUXE DASH offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks premium features permanently. All payments are processed by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles payment data.

6. Permissions We Use

Location (GPS) — for speed, compass, trip data, and weather
Internet — for weather updates and purchase verification only
Photos / Media — only if you choose a custom background from your gallery. The selected image is copied to the app's private storage and is never uploaded anywhere.

7. Analytics and Advertising

The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools. We do not track your behaviour, build profiles, or share information with advertisers.

8. Children's Privacy

LUXE DASH is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
